I can not control litter size.

Hedgie Haven does not sell to pet stores. Our hedgehogs go to pet only homes & we welcome other breeders looking for a new line as well.

Hedgie Haven...

Where hedgehogs are raised to be loved.

We are a small scale Breeder of African Hedgehogs located in Logansport,Indiana.
Now with that being said I am currently the largest hedgehog breeder/ rescuer located in Indiana.

Hedgie Haven has raised and cared for hedgehogs since 2000.
We started out just as a hedgehog rescue in 2000. We have since grown to offer hand-held baby hedgehogs since 2006 as well as maintain to be Indiana's Hedgehog Rescue.
Our hoglets start socializing as soon as their mom's let us safely hand them. We believe in teaching hoglets about the smell and feel of different human hands.
Gloves are never used here at Hedgie Haven with any hedgehog.
Hedgie Haven hedgehogs are bred first for health and temperament, producing babies in a small variety of patterns (pinto, snowflake, blazed and patched faces) and colors.
All of our breeding herd are "Algerian Hedgehogs" not "White Belly Hedgehogs" all this means is your hedgehog will have those marks under its eyes.
When buying from Hedgie Haven you go home with our personal touch of always having someone to answer your questions,help you with your concerns and sharing your updates with us.
We don't leave you and your new family member when you walk out the door... you become part of the hedgehog community too.







If Hedgie Haven pays an adoption fee breeding rights for known lineage hedgehogs maybe asked for. These are classed as none rescues. Due the exchange of finances taking place.



Where with rescues we can not give financial restitution to the owners.
Please email if your hedgehog is needing a rescue home.
Even if you are not in one of the following states IN,IL,MI and OH
We will work with you to find a rescue station in your area via Hedgehog Welfare Society.
Rescues are never breed and giving a loving pet only home. This is a different program away from the breeding program. Healthy rescues may be up for adoption. Those with special needs will always have a loving home here at Hedgie Haven till they cross the Rainbow Bridge.
